Welcome to SJ Banham's Web SiteThis site is a window into the work of Essex author, SJ Banham. Essex born, Sarah has lived here all her life. She became interested in writing stories and poetry at school but didn’t fully realise her passion until she left in 1983. Since then, despite holding regular secretarial roles over the years, she has always hankered for creating writing. In 2001, she founded a local writing group in South Woodham Ferrers after discovering nothing of its kind in the local area. Within the year she remained with them, they’d created a website, a town newsletter and published an anthology raising £500 in aid of Children in Need. Since then Sarah has written a number of Novels, had work in 6 Anthologies and written a historic account of Runwell Hospital. She is currently writing her 4th Novel.
